Tree work belongs in a clearly marked scope

Tree services are part of what we offer, whether the tree work is the main project or an additional piece of a larger job. We start with the specific property, the trees or marked area involved, the available access, any nearby improvements, and what you want the work to accomplish. That gives us a practical starting point before we put together an estimate.

Clear marking makes a real difference. Show us the property boundaries and identify every tree or area that needs to remain untouched. We also need to know about utilities, septic components, structures, fences, soft or limited access, and anything else that could affect the work before we begin. If the tree work connects with clearing, grading, drainage, or homesite preparation, we'll lay out how those phases fit together and spell out exactly which work is included. The point is to make the work area easy to understand for everyone before the project starts.

Coordinate tree services with land clearing

Some properties need isolated tree work. Others have trees within a larger land-clearing or site-preparation area. Along with tree services, we offer conventional land clearing, forestry mulching, homesite and lot clearing, grading and sitework, drainage, and excavation. We can talk through those services as a sequence when the property calls for it, but that doesn't mean every task is automatically included in the price.

We'll separate the details in the written scope: which trees we're addressing, which vegetation will be mulched or cleared, how material will be handled, what is expected for stumps and grading, and what the final handoff should look like. Tell us what you want the land to become after the work, too. A driveway, building area, fence line, trail, field edge, or maintainable acreage can each lead to a different plan. Defining that next use helps us organize the current work without quietly folding unrelated tasks into the project.

Request an estimate based on the actual property

Tree-service pricing is specific to the property. Across our work, we commonly use a six- to eight-hour minimum in the $1,800 to $2,500 range and a 50% deposit. That range is a starting point, not a set price for an individual tree-service request. We still need to look at the property and the requested work before preparing an estimate. Access, travel, nearby improvements, terrain, the size and condition of the work area, material handling, and the result you're asking for can all change the scope.

Our written estimate will identify what's included, what will remain, your responsibilities before the work starts, payment timing, and any known conditions that could affect access or the schedule. General information on this page helps you begin the conversation, but it doesn't replace the accepted project documents. Those documents control the actual work. Read through them, ask about anything that isn't clear, and make sure the marked area and expected handoff match the project you've discussed with us.

Make safety and responsibility part of the conversation

Tree work near structures, roads, utilities, fences, or other improvements needs a careful conversation about the actual property. Tell us what's nearby and where access is limited before you accept an estimate. We'll decide whether the request fits our services based on the conditions in front of us. This page isn't a promise that we can handle every tree or every situation. If utility coordination, traffic control, permits, or another specialist is needed, we'll make sure responsibility is clear before scheduling.

The accepted documents should name the trees or marked area, the work you've requested, material-handling and stump expectations, exclusions, and the expected handoff. Weather or a changed site condition can affect the plan. If that happens, we'll communicate any scope or schedule change through the project process instead of leaving you to guess.

Photos are useful for a first look, but they may not show access, nearby improvements, utilities, or the condition of a tree clearly enough. An on-site conversation lets us determine project fit, identify any information we still need, and prepare a scope limited to the work we're actually offering.
